• “SOUPER” BOWL OF CARING - The Richlands High School FCCLA chapter is collecting canned soup and other canned goods for the Good Samaritan Food Pantry. Donations will also be graciously accepted for this worthy cause. The pantry is very low on staples at this time of year. The need for food is greater than the supply. We would be pleased if you would donate to this wonderful cause. All canned goods can be sent to the FACS room. The canned food drive will end Friday, February 5. Collections will be counted by grade level. The class with the largest amounts will receive the winning trophy.

• We are collecting relief effort kits to be sent to Haiti. Each kit will contain the following items, and we will collect them in Room 201.  Putting these kits together would be a great opportunity for some kids to get involved in the community and community service.  THANK YOU!!! 
  Health Kits:
  1 handtowel (15" x 25" up tp 17" x 27", no kitchen towels)
  1 washcloth
  1 comb (large and sturdy not pocket sized)
  1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emory boards or toenail clippers)
  1 bath-size bar of soap 3 oz and up
  1 adult size toothbrush in original single wrapper
  6 adhesive strips sterile bandages
